A mid 19th c miniature polychrome straw work box inlaid with First Nations figures and imagery. Purchased in a 1990 Canadiana sale at Pinney's. While its origin at the time was a bit of guesswork - and still is today - a couple of pictorial straw work marquetry panels have surfaced since then depicting scenes of Quebec City.
